Become a HSTC Volunteer!!

Volunteering is a great way to help pets in need and meet other caring humans like you! Join our volunteer family!

Dedicated volunteers are our most valuable asset. We could not operate without the services of dedicated volunteers. Here are some ways that you can make a “paws-itive” difference:

  • Assisting with fundraisers

  • Helping at adoption events

  • Becoming an adoption counselor

  • Making phone calls from home (follow up on adoptions, check in on fosters, etc)

  • Administrative tasks

  • Write newsletter articles & blog posts

  • Becoming a foster care provider

Here are just a few of the benefits of volunteering with HSTC:

  • Be part of the solution! You'll join a network of hundreds of thousands of people working to make the world safe and more humane for all living creatures. You'll make the jobs of everyone working for animals a little easier by lending a hand and spreading the message of responsible pet ownership and animal protection.

  • Get the warm fuzzies! You'll never find a more grateful and accepting comrade than an animal you've comforted.

  • Keep good company. You'll make lots of new friends—and not just the four-legged kind. Working side by side with people who share similar interests can forge lifelong friendships.

  • Meet the new you. You'll discover skills you never knew you had, and you may be surprised at what you're capable of achieving.

  • Enjoy a wagging tail, a purr, and a smile. Didn't someone once say that the best things in life are free?

We hope to hear from you!! Download our volunteer application now and return by email to one of the following email addresses: hstcpurrs@gmail.com, hstcvolunteer@gmail.com or pawsomehstc@gmail.com or fax to 229-439-1068.
